There are many reasons why teens chose to turn to drugs as an option. It could be because they have a bad home life and need a way out. Another reason could be because they think that it is cool, but it isnt and some people look down on it. They might not know the effects that it has on your body and how it could kill you with one usage. They could just do it to get in with the so-called popular group and think that it will get more people to think that they are cool. The number one reason why teens chose to do drugs is because one of their friends is doing it and they offer it to them, this is called peer pressure and it is the number one reason why teens do drugs.
